Students bring laurels to the school

Pratibha Sharma has achieved an international rank 3 in the prestigious Olympiad

Two students have brought laurels to Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar by exhibiting a spectacular performance in the International English Olympiad, (IEO) conducted by SOF organisation. This Olympiad had thousands of students participating in it from across the globe. Pratibha Sharma, a student of class 9th, has achieved an international rank 3 in the prestigious Olympiad for which she would be rewarded with a monetary prize, an international bronze medal and a certificate of outstanding performance. Madhvi Sharma, a student of class 11 Humanities has  a flair for writing. With a strong belief that education and writing can bring a positive change in the world, she keeps voicing important concerns by regularly writing letters to the editors of National Dailies and writing articles for various magazines. Besides, her passion for writing helped her to win numerous awards and scholarships including UNESCO’s essay competition and the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition . Recently , her poetry and blogs were selected to be published in the prestigious blog of ‘Voices of Youth’ by UNICEF and The United Nations. In addition,her works have been published in ‘The Teenager Today’ Magazine, the largest teenager magazine in the country.. They are worth emulating

Ludhiana Student Shines in Talent Search Exam

Dhanushta Chhabra,
a student of Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana achieved the first national rank in the AglaSem Talent Search Exam (ATSE) 2021-2022 conducted by AglaSem EduTech Private Limited. She will be awarded a certificate of excellence, a gold medal, and a cash prize of Rupees 50,000 for the same.

AglaSem Talent Search Exam (ATSE) is a national level talent search cum scholarship test for classes 5 to 12 in which students are tested on the basis of their science and mathematics knowledge. This test gives them an opportunity to compete with their peers at a national level, and grab scholarships that would help them further their education goals. A total of 800 scholarships amounting to worth Rupees 12.16 lacs have been awarded to top 100 students from each class.

Cadet ArmaanDeep Kaur of GCG Participated in RDC 2022

7 cadets were selected from Ludhiana group

It was a proud moment for Govt. College for Girls, Ludhiana as its proud NCC cadet girl CPL Armaandeep Kaur became a part of NCC contingent for RDC, New Delhi. 
In the event She proudly represented Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh Directorate. 

After Tough Training only 57 cadets were selected after various Inter battalion and other Inter group competitions out of which only 7 cadets were selected from Ludhiana group and Armaandeep Kaur of GCG Ldh. enrolled under 3PB(G)Bn NCC Ludhiana was the only SW cadet who got selected for Prime Minister rally and cultural event. 

She has put all her heart and soul in the training since the very first camp conducted at NCC academy, Malout. During the camp, she was a part of Best Cadet Competition, Flag Area Competition, Drill and Cultural Event. She was selected as the Best Cadet in SW Army wing group level. Later in Ropar, after going through various selection procedures she was the only SW Cadet of Army wing from Ludhiana Group, who was able to make in to RDC 2022. Principal Mrs. Kirpal Kaur and Lt. Jasdeep Kaur (ANO) congratulated Armaandeep Kaur for bringing laurel to her institution by scaling new heights and setting great examples for the students.
