DAV School participated in ‘Walkathon Rally’

 It was 32nd Road Safety Month celebrations

Students and the Staff of DAV Public School, B.R.S.Nagar, Ludhiana participated enthusiastically in ‘Walkathon Rally’ organized by the Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana in context with 32nd Road Safety Month being celebrated from 18th January,2021 to 17th February,2021. Students of the school displayed road safety rules through placards and raised slogans to support the cause of safe driving on the roads for ensuring smooth and safe vehicular traffic in the city.

Principal, Mrs. J.K. Sidhu appreciated the efforts of the school staff in making the students participate in the above said rally. She expressed her gratitude to the Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana for organizing Road Safety Month and ensured full participation of the school in all such endeavors of the Commissionerate to make the roads of our city safe for all users.


Declamation Competition Held at G.C.G

Gurpriya Kaur and Jaspreet Kaur bagged first position

Public Administration department of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana organized a declamation coemption on the topic-Importance of Elections in a Democracy. Students of different classes participated in the competition very enthusiastically. Principal, Dr. Gurpreet kaur encouraged the students and appreciated their efforts. Head of Public Administration department, Mrs. Baljeet Kaur expressed her warmest wishes and emphasized on the importance of elections in our life. Mr. Dinesh Sharda, teacher of Public Administration also encouraged the students to take part in such competitions and motivated them to become a vigilant citizen. Dr. Tarunpreet Singh served as the member of jury. Gurpriya Kaur and Jaspreet Kaur bagged first position, Ashmeet Kaur and Vani Vaid bagged second position, Aakriti and Pooja Joshi bagged third prize and consolation prize was won by Surbhi. Team of Public Administration council students-Taniya, Ashmeet Kaur , Sargun and Manveer Kaur gave their best efforts in making this event successful.
