New Delhi: 19th August 2020: (RCS and C//Education Screen)::
The 21st Annual Educational Fair "Russian Education - 2020" was held in India from 16 to 18 August. The event was organized by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi and its traditional partner-the educational company RusEducation, which has been helping Indian citizens to enrol in Russian universities for over 20 years.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition was organized on the basis of a specially created online platform. This format made it possible to significantly increase the scale of the event and provide access to it for applicants throughout the country. The educational exhibition provided an opportunity for students and their parents to communicate directly with university representatives via video communication and online chat, and to submit their application online. Visitors were presented with video tours and photo galleries of Russian universities and the cities in which they are located, as well as reviews from former and current students. In just two days of the exhibition, it was visited by more than 10 thousand people, with a peak activity of two thousand visitors at a time.
This year, 10 Russian universities took part in the exhibition, including: Perm State Medical University, Orenburg State Medical University, Mari State University, Moscow Aviation Institute, Southern Federal University, Siberian State Medical University, Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, Ural Federal University, Novosibirsk State University and Far Eastern Federal University.
A series of webinars was held on the side-lines of the virtual educational fair, at which participating universities presented their organizations, spoke about the available programs and answered questions from Indian applicants.
